Our commitment extends to promoting agricultural productivity, providing
housing for those in need, and fighting against epidemics like HIV/AIDS and malaria. We champion food
security, environmental protection, and women's empowerment through income-generating activities.
We aim at reducing morbidity and mortality among the most disadvantaged
people in Kalungu District. We Ought to improve the
nutrition and health status of people and help to establish a framework for integrated
district-based development of social services in the country

What We Are Doing
Our Focus is on Gender-based violence, Governance, Accountability & Transparency, Livelihoods, Women's Rights
Education & Youth Skilling
Currently UEDPG collaborated with BEKADEV Training Agency to carry out vocational skills
training to the youth. For the first year, we have enrolled trainees for Tailoring and
Fashion Design, Hairdressing and Cosmetology, Electrical Installation and Solar Systems
as well as Secretarial and Computer studies.
Health, Water & Sanitation
In our Health sector, we are committed to ensuring the well-being of
communities. From healthcare access to preventative programs, we aim to create healthier lives
for all. Join hands with UEDPG to promote wellness, provide medical resources, and empower
individuals to lead healthier lifestyles. Together, let's make quality healthcare a reality for
everyone.
Enviromental Protection
UEDPG takes a stand for the environment, recognizing its vital role in
sustaining life. Our Environmental Protection sector works towards conservation, sustainable
practices, and raising awareness about the importance of preserving our natural resources.
Livelihood Empowerment
Empowering communities is at the heart of our Livelihood Empowerment
initiatives. Through skill development, entrepreneurship support, and economic empowerment
programs, UEDPG strives to uplift individuals and families, breaking the chains of poverty.
Advocacy
Advocacy is a powerful tool for change, and at UEDPG, we advocate for justice,
equality, and the rights of the underserved. Join our Advocacy sector in raising your voice for

Governance and Accountability
UEDPG supports the formed and existing smaller community associations especially in their
leadership and financial literacy. Emphasis is put on good governance and accountability;
not only at the community groups’ level but also within UEDPG management itself.
